"Noblest of Institutions" Exhibition comes to a close

Sadly after a busy three weeks the Haslar Exhibition closed on the 21st March 2015. It has been a superb experience for the Haslar Heritage Group (HHG) and especially in meeting so many people who visited and who had so many personal stories regarding Haslar. The comments sheets are full with great comments left by visitor’s, all very positive and these will be kept. The Exhibition was a Great experience for HHG and thank you to all who live locally and who attended and sorry that those who lived afar who could not visit. There will be other events and the layout has given HHG ideas on how to move forward and arrange the Visitor’s Heritage Centre when the time comes. At the same time as the Exhibition Eric Birbeck MVO gave a talk to a packed house at the Gosport Discovery Centre with many people not able gain tickets due to demand. Two more talks will take place during the year raising funds for the groups funds.
