Armistice Day Commemoration 2024
Haslar holds a Remembrance Service every Armistice Day on 11 November.
Starting at the front of the hospital at the SBA Memorial, the service then continues in St Luke’s Church.
This year we were, for the first time in some years, able to place a wreath on the memorial on the wall by the doors to the Main Arcade with names of staff lost in the First World War . Eric told the story of one of the nurses.
